Several Camden members attended a very moving and stirring vigil on the steps of St Martin’s in the Field in Trafalgar Square last Friday marking two months since Japan’s earthquake, tsunami and nuclear radiation leaks.

There was a lot of support from passersby, particularly on the issue of not building new nuclear power stations in Britain. This was supported by an excellent leaflet from Stop Nuclear Power.

Many Camden Green Party members will be out and about this week in the final push to secure a “yes” vote in the referendum on Thursday. (And Caroline Lucas writes in the Guardian today about why this is the green option.)
